Terms of Service — Dios Sea Exaltado App

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Dios Sea Exaltado App, you agree to:

These Terms of Service.
Our Privacy Policy.
Any applicable terms of the App Store, Google Play, or other related third-party services.
Any updates to these Terms published by DIOSEAEXALTADO.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should stop using the App.

2. Description of the Service

Dios Sea Exaltado App provides Christian songs, chords, melodies, and music-related tools, including:

Lyrics and chords for Christian songs and hymns.
Key transposition.
Lyrics displayed with or without chords.
Chord interpretation tools.
Melody display in different notation modes.
Chord diagrams for piano and guitar.
Playback or access to YouTube links.
Download or viewing of related resources, when available.
Customization of text size, colors, and appearance.
Local or cloud-synchronized Favorites.
Shared Folders, shared-content imports, and backups, when available.
Song suggestions, voting, and community participation features.
Song reactions and other interactions available within the App.
Creation and editing of your own content within the App.
PDF generation, in-app screenshots, and other resources for permitted uses.

Content and features may be added, updated, changed, or removed over time.

3. Permitted Use

You agree to:

Use the App for permitted personal, congregational, educational, or ministry-related purposes.
Respect copyrights and other rights relating to songs, lyrics, chords, melodies, and external resources.
Not copy or distribute content on a large scale without authorization.
Not export, publish, or share content unless you have sufficient rights or authorization to do so.
Not tamper with the App's code, databases, security mechanisms, or APIs.
Not engage in activities that compromise the security, stability, or performance of the Service.

The following activities are prohibited:

Malicious use of the App.
Unauthorized scraping or automated use of content.
Decompiling, hacking, altering, or attempting to compromise the App.
Impersonating others or manipulating votes, suggestions, subscriptions, or accounts.
Using shared links, reactions, screenshots, PDF files, or community features for abuse, spam, or infringement of third-party rights.

4. Accounts, Authentication, and Linked Devices

The App allows users to sign in with Google or Apple to access account-based features, including synchronization, Favorites, settings, community participation, and DSE PRO access verification where applicable.

The App may allow Google and Apple sign-in methods to be linked to the same account, making it easier to access the same account from different devices or platforms. Linking these methods does not necessarily create separate accounts; instead, it may provide additional ways to access the same profile and synchronized information.

Unlinking a sign-in provider does not delete your account, but it may prevent you from signing in through that provider. You must keep at least one valid sign-in method linked to your account.

An account may remain active on up to four devices at the same time. You may review and close sessions linked to your account through the options available in the App.

DIOSEAEXALTADO may close old, inactive, or potentially unsafe sessions. You are responsible for protecting access to your devices and external accounts and for closing any sessions you do not recognize.

Dios Sea Exaltado App does not have access to your Google or Apple passwords.

5. FREE Version and DSE PRO

The FREE version provides access to the App's main features subject to certain limits. Current limits include up to two editable Favorites folders, up to ten songs per folder, up to two user-created or edited songs, transposition of up to two semitones up or down, and up to ten active Shared Folders.

Some features, including advanced PDF export, song suggestions and voting, certain advanced visual preferences, and ad removal, may be restricted or require DSE PRO.

DSE PRO includes unlimited transposition, unlimited Favorites folders, unlimited user-created or edited songs, expanded use of Shared Folders, PDF exports containing up to ten songs, the ability to submit song proposals, advanced visual preferences, and an ad-free experience.

Current limits and benefits will be displayed within the App and may be updated as features are introduced, changed, or discontinued.

5.1 Subscriptions on iOS

On iOS devices, purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management are handled through the App Store and your Apple account. Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the terms shown by Apple at the time of purchase.

5.2 Subscriptions on Android

On Android devices, purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management are handled through Google Play and your Google account. Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the terms shown by Google Play at the time of purchase.

5.3 Cancellation, Restoration, and Account Deletion

Canceling a DSE PRO subscription and deleting your account are separate actions. Canceling your subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete your account or its data. Your DSE PRO access may remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for, subject to the applicable App Store or Google Play terms.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must manage or cancel your subscription directly through the store where you purchased it to prevent future renewals.

The App may provide options to restore or verify purchases, but billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are ultimately handled by the applicable store.

5.4 Trials, Promotions, and Codes

If the App offers trials, promotions, codes, temporary benefits, or special campaigns, these may be subject to availability, verification, expiration dates, usage limits, and specific conditions. These benefits do not guarantee permanent DSE PRO access and do not change the purchase terms of the App Store or Google Play.

Support channels such as email or WhatsApp are provided for customer assistance, guidance, and technical support. Digital subscriptions within the App are managed through the App Store or Google Play, as applicable.

6. Synchronization, Trash, Backups, and Shared Links

Synchronization is designed to keep Favorites, folders, songs, and settings up to date across devices linked to the same account. A valid session and Internet connection may be required for synchronization to work properly.

If the same content is changed on different devices, synchronization may result in delays, duplicates, merged changes, or one version replacing another. The App may create backups to reduce the risk of data loss, but it cannot guarantee that every change can be recovered in every circumstance.

Items moved to Trash may be restored for up to thirty days. After that period, they may be permanently deleted.

The App may retain up to two recent copies of each backup type: manual, automatic, or safety backup. Creating a new backup may replace the oldest backup of the same type.

Shared Folder links remain valid for up to thirty days unless revoked earlier by the user. Once a link expires or is revoked, it can no longer be used for new access. However, copies previously imported by other users will not be automatically deleted.

7. Content Created, Imported, or Shared by Users

Some features allow users to create, edit, import, publish, or share content, including original songs, lyrics, chords, images, links, Shared Folders, suggestions, aliases, reactions, votes, PDF files, or screenshots generated through the App.

You are responsible for any material you import, create, publish, or share through the App and for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, or authorization required to use it.

By using these features, you represent that:

Your content does not infringe copyright, privacy, image rights, or other rights belonging to third parties.
You will not publish illegal, deceptive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or fraudulent content.
You will not publish information that compromises another person's privacy or security.
You will not use the App for impersonation, spam, malicious links, vote manipulation, or abusive repetitive posting.
You are responsible for content you export, capture, publish, send, or share outside the App.

When you create, upload, suggest, or share content, you authorize DIOSEAEXALTADO to store, process, synchronize, review, and display that content within the App to the extent necessary to operate the relevant features. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to DIOSEAEXALTADO.

DIOSEAEXALTADO may review, restrict, reject, hide, or remove proposals, reactions, votes, or other content that violates these Terms. We may also remove or restrict content if we receive a complaint or identify a potential infringement of third-party rights.

8. Community Features, Moderation, Reports, and Blocking

Suggestions, voting, reactions, and other community features are intended to encourage user participation within the purposes of the App.

Your display name or alias, profile photo, proposals, votes, reactions, and other content submitted through community features may be visible to other users.

By publishing content, you understand that other users may view and interact with it. Changing or deleting your profile does not guarantee the immediate removal of every historical reference associated with your previous activity. Such references may be retained anonymously where necessary to preserve the integrity of community features.

Users may report inappropriate content or behavior through tools available in the App or through our support channels.

Users may also block or request restrictions on other users in cases involving abusive behavior, threats, harassment, or unwanted interactions. If a moderation action is taken, the affected user may request a review or appeal through the available support channels.

9. Third-Party Content and Services

The App may include links to or resources from external services such as:

YouTube videos or links.
Externally hosted resources, images, sheet music, or other materials.
Services provided by the App Store, Google Play, Google, Apple, email providers, or WhatsApp.

Each external service has its own terms and policies. DIOSEAEXALTADO does not control or manage the content, availability, or practices of those third-party services.

9.1 Web Browsing and Content Import

The App may include an in-app browser that allows users to access search engines, lyrics and chord websites, and other external websites. These websites are not owned or operated by DIOSEAEXALTADO.

When a webpage contains song-related information, the App may provide a tool that detects and automatically preloads information such as the title, artist, author, key, lyrics, or chords into the “Write Song” feature.

DIOSEAEXALTADO is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially represented by Cifra Club, Acordes Web, Letras.com, Musica.com, or other external websites that may be accessed through the App, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Importing content does not transfer ownership or rights in the original material to DIOSEAEXALTADO or to the user. Lyrics, chords, song titles, compositions, and other materials remain the property of their respective authors, publishers, or rights holders.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or authorization before saving, modifying, exporting, publishing, or sharing content obtained from external websites.

Automatic detection may produce errors, incomplete information, or incorrect formatting. You should review and correct imported content before saving or using it.

10. Advertising

The App may display ads to users who do not have DSE PRO, or where otherwise applicable based on the configuration of the Service. Ads may be provided by third parties such as Google AdMob.

DIOSEAEXALTADO does not control every advertisement displayed by third-party providers, but seeks to integrate advertising services in accordance with the applicable platform policies.

11. Intellectual Property

The following are owned by DIOSEAEXALTADO, unless another owner is identified:

The App's source code and software.
The App's design.
Internal systems.
Proprietary databases.
Graphics, trademarks, resources, and other elements developed for the project.

Lyrics, chords, melodies, song titles, videos, and external resources may belong to their respective authors, ministries, publishers, or other rights holders. The App is intended to support study, practice, and ministry-related use while respecting the rights of the applicable owners.

If you are a rights holder and believe that any content should be corrected, attributed, restricted, or removed, you may contact appdioseaexaltado@gmail.com and provide enough information for us to review your request.

12. Account Suspension or Deletion

DIOSEAEXALTADO may restrict features, close sessions, temporarily suspend, or delete an account when there is a violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, manipulation of App features, a security risk, or conduct that harms other users or the Service.

Suspension may prevent access to synchronized, community, or DSE PRO features. Account deletion may result in the permanent loss of your profile, settings, Favorites, folders, user-created songs, backups, and other associated information.

You may also voluntarily begin the account deletion process from:

Menu → My Account → Account Settings → Delete Account

Account deletion does not necessarily remove copies that you previously exported, sent through third-party services, shared with other people, or that other users legitimately imported through Shared Folder links.

As explained in Section 5.3, deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.

13. Service Availability

You acknowledge that:

The App may occasionally experience temporary errors or interruptions.
The Service may require maintenance.
Some features may require an Internet connection.
Features may change or be updated over time.
Content may be removed, corrected, or added without prior notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete absence of errors, or permanent availability of all content or features.

14. Use by Minors

The App is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. Where appropriate, minors should use the App with the permission or supervision of a parent or legal guardian, particularly when signing in, sharing content, participating in community features, or making purchases through external app stores.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dios Sea Exaltado App will not be responsible for:

Internet or connectivity problems affecting the user.
Data loss caused by device errors, reinstalls, or misuse.
External content not managed by DIOSEAEXALTADO.
Improper use of the App by the user.
Content the user exports, captures, publishes, sends, or shares outside the App.
Temporary errors involving app stores, external services, or third-party providers.
Cancellations, refunds, or decisions made directly by the App Store or Google Play.
Synchronization conflicts or changes that cannot be recovered in exceptional circumstances.

These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not exclude any rights that cannot legally be limited or waived.

16. Applicable Law

These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws and regulations that apply in each country or region where the App is offered or used, including mandatory consumer protection laws and the applicable terms of the App Store, Google Play, or other external platforms.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, commercial, or functional changes. The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised “Last updated” date.

Where applicable, continued use of the App after updated Terms take effect will be subject to the revised Terms, without limiting any rights granted to users under applicable law.

18. Language and Translations

These Terms of Service may be made available in Spanish and English for convenience and ease of understanding. The Spanish version is the original version. If there is any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version will prevail, unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise.
