Privacy Policy

Dios Sea Exaltado App is operated by DIOSEAEXALTADO. Support, privacy, and personal data requests are handled through the contact methods listed in this Policy.

1. Definitions

Account: An account created or linked to access features of the App.

App: The “Dios Sea Exaltado App” mobile application.

DIOSEAEXALTADO: The entity that operates and manages the project.

Contact Person: The person designated to handle support, privacy, and personal data requests.

Personal Data: Information that identifies or can reasonably be used to identify a user.

Service: Dios Sea Exaltado App and its related features.

Service Provider: A third party that processes data or provides technical services necessary for the App to operate.

Usage Data: Technical or activity information generated when using the Service.

User: Any person who accesses or uses the App.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, the App may collect or store the following information:

2.1 Sign-in with Google

When you use “Sign in with Google,” the App receives only the information needed to authenticate your account:

• Name.
• Email address.
• Profile photo, if available.
• Unique Google ID.

We do not receive your Google password or additional access to your Google account.

2.2 Sign in with Apple

When you use “Sign in with Apple,” the App may receive:

• A unique Apple identifier for the App.
• Your email address, if Apple provides it or you choose to share it.
• Your name, if available during the initial sign-in.

Apple may allow you to hide your actual email address by using a private relay email address.

2.3 Profile and Profile Photo

The App may store profile information and preferences such as:

• Your display name or alias.
• Your profile photo, if you choose to use or upload one.
• Color, text size, display mode, and other usage preferences.
• Key, favorites, and folder preferences.

When you select a profile photo, the App may request access to your device's photo library or gallery. The selected image may be cropped, resized, or compressed before it is stored locally or uploaded to the App's servers.

The photo may be temporarily stored on your device so it can be displayed offline or while the upload is being completed. Depending on the features you use, your profile photo may be visible to other users alongside song proposals, votes, reactions, or other public activity.

2.4 Content You Create, Submit, or Share

When using the App, you may voluntarily create, submit, or share information such as:

• Songs you create or edit.
• Favorites, folders, and related settings.
• Song suggestions.
• Your display alias.
• YouTube links.
• Lyrics, chords, or comments you submit.
• Votes and participation in voting features.
• Song reactions and other activity related to community features.
• Shared folders, sharing links, and songs included in those folders.
• Files, screenshots, or PDF files generated through the App when you choose to create or share them.

2.5 Subscriptions and Purchases

If you purchase DSE PRO, your purchase is processed through the appropriate store: the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. DIOSEAEXALTADO does not receive or store your credit card number, banking information, or complete payment method details.

We may receive and store technical information needed to verify your DSE PRO access, such as subscription status, product identifiers, platform, purchase date, expiration or renewal date, and validation information provided by the App Store or Google Play.

2.6 Advertising, Consent, and Privacy Choices

The App may display ads to users who do not have DSE PRO. Advertising is managed through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Under the App's current configuration, we request non-personalized ads. Even so, Google and its authorized partners may process technical information required to deliver, secure, measure, and operate advertising, including:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location.
• Device, App, or developer identifiers.
• Information about ads displayed and interactions with those ads.
• App performance information.
• Technical crash or diagnostic information.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may display a form that allows users to manage applicable privacy choices before ads are requested.

Depending on your choices and applicable requirements, Google may serve non-personalized or limited ads. Where available, you can review or change your choices later under Settings → Ad Privacy.

DIOSEAEXALTADO does not sell personal data and does not receive complete advertising profiles from Google. Google and its authorized partners process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2.7 Technical Data, Devices, and Sessions

The App may generate or use a device identifier and collect technical information needed for stability, security, synchronization, and support, including:

• Device identifier and device name.
• Device type and platform.
• Operating system.
• App version.
• Connection status.
• Session identifier and activity dates.
• Technical error or synchronization logs.

This information may be used to manage active sessions, synchronize information, enforce device limits, protect accounts, and prevent unauthorized access or abusive use.

You can review and close sessions linked to your account. The App may limit the number of devices that can be active at the same time and may close old or inactive sessions.

2.8 Usage Statistics and Activity Data

The App may record information about how it is used, such as songs viewed, approximate viewing duration, the section from which a song was opened, and the date and time of the activity.

We may also record internal information needed to operate and improve the App, such as synchronization attempts, DSE PRO access validations, use of free-tier limits, PDF or screenshot generation, and activity related to voting or reactions.

When your device is offline, certain events may be stored temporarily and sent after your connection is restored. This information is used to understand how the Service is functioning, improve its features, and prevent misuse.

2.9 Clipboard Use

On certain screens, the App may check the clipboard for compatible YouTube links in order to make it easier to automatically fill in relevant fields.

Clipboard detection is used only for this purpose. A detected link is saved or transmitted only after you confirm an action, such as saving a song or submitting a proposal. Clipboard content that does not match a compatible link is not intentionally used for any other purpose.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide sign-in and user identification.
• Manage devices and sessions linked to your account.
• Save and synchronize favorites, folders, songs, and settings.
• Save key and display preferences.
• Support songs and other content created by users.
• Manage suggestions, voting, reactions, and other community features.
• Manage shared folders, sharing links, and content imported by users.
• Provide backups, restoration, trash, synchronization, and data-loss prevention features.
• Enable PDF generation, in-app screenshots, and resources shared from the App.
• Verify access to DSE PRO features.
• Restore purchases or verify subscriptions.
• Display advertising where applicable.
• Collect usage statistics to improve the Service and prevent misuse.
• Provide technical support and respond to requests.
• Improve the stability, security, and operation of the Service.

We do not sell or commercially trade users' personal data.

4. Service Providers and Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services in order to operate properly, including:

• Google, for sign-in, Google Play, and related services.
• Apple, for Sign in with Apple, the App Store, and iOS subscriptions.
• Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), for advertising and related privacy choices.
• Hosting, database, and communication services required for synchronization.
• YouTube and other external services when users open links related to songs.

Each third-party provider may process information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those services.

5. Storage, Synchronization, and Security

Information may be stored locally on your device and/or on servers operated by DIOSEAEXALTADO.

Favorites, folders, songs, and related settings may be synchronized across devices linked to the same account. The App may also create manual, automatic, or safety backups to help recover information and resolve synchronization conflicts.

Certain features may temporarily store information locally so they can work offline or complete synchronization after an Internet connection becomes available.

We use reasonable security measures, including:

• Secure HTTPS connections.
• Access controls.
• Session tokens and authentication mechanisms.
• Integrity and monitoring measures.

Although we follow reasonable security practices, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

6. Backups, Trash, and Data Retention

We retain information while your account is active or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain synchronization features, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve technical issues, or respond to user requests.

Items removed from Favorites may remain available in Trash for up to thirty days. After that period, they may be permanently deleted.

Backups are not retained indefinitely. The App may keep up to two recent copies of each backup type—manual, automatic, or safety—and may replace older copies when new backups are created.

Certain technical information, purchase records, or limited historical information may be retained when necessary for security, support, fraud or abuse prevention, legal obligations, or transaction verification.

7. Shared Folders and Links

You can generate links to share folders and the songs contained in them. Anyone with access to a valid link may be able to view or import the shared content.

Shared links remain valid for up to thirty days unless you revoke them earlier. When another user imports a folder, an independent copy is created in that user's account.

That imported copy may remain available to the person who imported it even if the original link expires or is revoked, or if the original folder is later changed or deleted.

8. Exports, PDF Files, and Screenshots

PDF files and screenshots generated through the App are created primarily on the user's device. DIOSEAEXALTADO does not automatically receive a copy of these files.

The App may record limited information related to an export, such as the date, number of songs, folder used, selected format, or counters needed to manage usage limits.

If you share a file through another application or service, any subsequent handling of that file is governed by the service you choose to use.

9. Information Visible to Other Users

When you use community features, certain information may be visible to other users, including your display name or alias, profile photo, song proposals, votes, reactions, and content you voluntarily publish.

You should avoid posting personal information that you do not want to make public. Deleting or changing your profile may not immediately remove every historical reference associated with previous activity. Such references may later be deleted, disassociated from your account, or anonymized.

10. Account Deletion and Information Retained After Deletion

You can start the account deletion process directly from the App by going to:

Menu → My Account → Account Settings → Delete Account

When you request account deletion, the App deletes or disassociates information needed to identify and operate your account, including, where applicable:

• Sign-in information linked to Google or Apple.
• Your profile, display name, and profile photo.
• Settings associated with your account.
• Favorites, folders, and associated songs.
• Your own songs and drafts.
• Backups and items stored in Trash.
• Shared links associated with your account.

Active sessions associated with the account will be closed or revoked.

Certain community activity, such as votes, proposals, or similar records, may be retained in anonymized form in order to preserve the integrity of community results and content.

We may also retain limited information related to purchases, subscriptions, security, fraud or abuse prevention, and transaction verification. Information retained for these purposes will be limited to what is necessary and, where possible, will no longer be directly linked to your user profile.

Deleting your account does not necessarily delete copies that you previously exported, sent through third-party services, or shared with other people, nor does it delete content that other users legitimately imported from a shared link.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. If you have a DSE PRO subscription, you must cancel it through the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided us with personal information without authorization, they may contact us to request its deletion. Where appropriate, minors should use the App with the permission or supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

12. External Links and In-App Browser

The App may include links to external platforms such as YouTube, the App Store, Google Play, email, WhatsApp, and other websites related to support or content. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of third-party services.

The App may also include an in-app browser that allows users to access search engines, lyrics and chord websites, and other external websites.

When you visit these websites, their operators may receive technical information normally associated with web browsing, such as your IP address, device information, cookies, technical identifiers, and usage information, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Websites you visit may use cookies, local storage, and other technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, or provide their services.

The App may temporarily retain browsing information needed to maintain or restore your session, such as the current page or recently visited addresses.

When the App detects a webpage containing a song, it may process information visible on that page directly on the device, such as the title, artist, author, key, lyrics, or chords, solely to prefill the “Write Song” feature.

DIOSEAEXALTADO does not automatically store this content on its servers simply because you visit or analyze a webpage. The content may be stored locally or synchronized to the cloud only when you choose to save it using the features available in the App.

External websites are not operated by DIOSEAEXALTADO and are responsible for their own privacy practices, terms of use, and tracking technologies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each website you visit.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

14. Language and Translations

This Privacy Policy may be made available in Spanish and English for convenience and ease of understanding. The Spanish version is the original version. If there is any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version will prevail, unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise.
